A new Finnish design innovation turns a power strip into an environmentally friendly interior design product that doesn’t need to be hidden

MyNolla solves the familiar problem of power strips in interior design. It results in a design innovation that is both practical and stylish, as well as significantly more durable than mass-produced power strips.

MyNolla Design Power Strip is designed to be modified, repaired and recycled

Unlike regular power strips, MyNolla Strips can be repaired and recycled. Magnetically attached top sheets of MyNolla Strips make it easy for the user to customize the product to suit their interior and preferences. Currently, the top sheets are available in oak or walnut, while the bodies are available in black or white. Each part of MyNolla Power Strip is replaceable and can also be recycled. It also meets the 16A electric current requirements, which makes it safe for continuous use.

In designing MyNolla Strip, we wanted to ensure a sustainable product and responsible business operation from the beginning. All MyNolla Strip's parts are replaceable, so the product can remain in use as long as possible and all parts can be reused. We are delighted to see that the trend is growing and that the EU is developing the Right to Repair initiative to extend the life cycle of products and save raw materials," explains MyNolla's team.

MyNolla's sustainability goes beyond materials

MyNolla Strip was designed and developed in Finland and is manufactured in the EU as well as most of its components. There is a plan to expand the selection of natural materials in the future to include other types of wood and, for example, natural stone, as well as recycled materials.
